The great variety of shapes and colors of this species might have much to tell us about the evolution of asters; petals of these composite flowers might have once been individual flowers that unfolded and lost their internal parts.

I'm a retired programmer who has found digital art to be a natural medium. I work steadily towards the goal of making this medium a respected art form, as much so as painting and photography are. To me, a piece of true digital art presents an original concept rather than simply being a photo with a filter or an AI software algorithm applied to it.
